Our Research

IFCYBER is research centre unique to UNSW, sitting across both the Canberra (ADFA) and Sydney campuses. We are interested in human, organisation, social, economic, legal, and technical aspects of cyber security. Our aim is to consider ‘real-world problems’ and deliver ‘real-world impact’ – in Australia and globally.

To ensure our research has real-world impact, we are committed to working with our partners – defence, government, industry, and community groups. We are keen to work with new partners in Australia and abroad and invite you to get involved. This might be joining us as partners on research projects, providing scholarships to PhD students, commissioning research, giving guest lectures, joining us in our public webinars and seminars or enrolling in our courses.

In addition to our excellence in research, we are committed to keeping our community up-to-date with the fast-pace industry that cyber security is, by providing regular news updates and ensuring access the most recent documentation.
